" I create art to reflect the world we live in but also to share a message of joy, love and tolerance."
I'm Ylan Akfly a young visual artist
I create digital and traditional artworks using pencils, acrylic paint or watercolor.
I was born in France and grew up between different cultures, religions and ideologies. It allowed me to see the beauty of diversity.
I've always been fascinated by the variety and differences between each human being and I'm always celebrating diverseness through my art.
I 've been drawing for as long as I can remember and I've always been inspired by nature, spirituality, women and queer people.
Some artists who have inspired me are Alphons Mucha, and his divine women posters, Andy Warhol and his masterly use of color and Frida Kahlo because of her ability to share an emotion and her delirious surrealism.
I drew from all these inspirations and came up with my own colorful and fantastic original style.
